1. About TAUC

What is TAUC?

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) is the premier national trade association for the union construction industry. TAUC is made up of more than 2,000 contractor companies that utilize union labor for their projects, as well as local contractor associations and vendors in the industrial maintenance and construction fields.

What is the TAUC Leadership Conference, and when is it held?

The TAUC Leadership Conference is one of the union construction industry's premier educational and networking events. Held each spring (mid-May) at a luxurious resort, the conference brings together contractors, owner-clients and labor representatives for several days of meetings, high-level presentations from industry experts, social events (including gourmet dinners and a golf tournament) and the annual Thomas J. What is the State of the Union Construction Industry Forum?

The TAUC State of the Union Construction Industry Forum is held annually in early December in Washington, D.C. The half-day event features speakers from Capitol Hill (including regulatory officials and legislative experts), as well as high-level union representatives and other industry notables. The Forum is considered a "must-attend" event, because it not only provides a valuable networking opportunity, but also gives attendees a sneak peek at the challenges and opportunities they will face in the coming year.
