The Association of Union Constructors is pleased to present the 2018 TAUC Leadership Conference. The leadership conference will be held May 15-18, 2018 at the Ocean Reef Club located at 201 Ocean Reef Drive in Key Largo, Florida 33037.

We encourage our members and affiliates to attend this year's conference to take advantage of the numerous networking opportunities.

As the national trade association for the union construction industry, TAUC strives to create and deliver events that capture the energy of the dynamic union construction market and offer necessary opportunities for union contractors, industrial business owners and union representatives to learn and network with fellow union construction professionals. TAUC events are a means of advancing the union construction industry's collective interests in labor relations, education, safety and health, and work opportunities.

If you've never attended a TAUC Leadership Conference, you can expect a full roster of high-quality speakers as well as numerous networking opportunities -- gourmet meals, a gala reception and dance, to name just a few. The conference also hosts the James J. Willis Craftsperson of the Year and Thomas J. Reynolds Safety Awards presentations, two of the industry's most prestigious award programs.

The 2018 TAUC Annual Union-Made Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, May 17th. The golf tournament has been designed to allow participants to enjoy the day while displaying their varied golfing skills. All ladies and gentlemen registered for TAUC's Leadership Conference are eligible to enter the tournament and compete for prizes.

A name badge will be issued to all paid registrants and will be your admittance to all business functions.

Only members in good standing will be eligible for discounted member rates when registering for TAUC Leadership Conference 2018.

TAUC membership dues are due by January 31, 2018.

Who Should Attend:
TAUC Leadership Conference 2018 is open to anyone with a vested interest in the enhancement and advancement of union construction.

Specifically, TAUC Leadership Conference 2018 is designed to be a premiere networking event for industrial business owners, union contractors and labor representatives.

Meeting Attire:
Attire for TAUC Leadership Conference 2018 is resort casual for all meetings and social events, EXCEPT for the Gala Reception, Dinner and Dance. The Gala is sport coat and dress slacks or suit for the gentlemen, and dresses or suits for the ladies.

Ocean Reef Club Dining Attire and Cellular Use: The required attire for gentlemen in all restaurants is best described as Club Casual - collared shirts and dress trousers and equally appropriate attire for ladies. If worn, shorts must be of walking length. Use of cell phones in any of the Club’s restaurants is not permitted.

Golf Attire: Golf courses and Driving Range require collared shirts for men and appropriate golfing shorts (no cargo or athletic shorts). Sleeveless golf blouses with collars are permissible for ladies as is other appropriate golf attire. Golf shoes must have non-metal spikes and shirt tails must be tucked in at all times.

The average high temperature during May in Key Largo, Florida is 87°F with an average low of 66°F, so please bring the appropriate clothing for outside evening activities.

Cancellation and Other Policies:
Registration can be cancelled, and your registration fee refunded in full, if written cancellation is received in The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) office on or before April 3, 2018. If cancelled after this date you will forfeit your registration fee or as an alternative option you are welcome to send a substitute or replacement.

THE CUT-OFF DATE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION IS MONDAY, APRIL 16, 2018.

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) has reserved a block of guestrooms for arrival on 5/14/18 and departure on 5/18/18. Reference TAUC Leadership Conference room block to receive the negotiated guestroom rate. A confirmation letter with details of the reservation as well as the cancellation policy will be sent electronically to each guest at time of booking.

SLEEPING ROOM RATE:
$279 per night, plus 12.5% taxes (subject to change) - Deluxe Inn accommodations. One king bed or two queen-size beds (bedding not guaranteed); single or double occupancy.

DAILY SERVICE CHARGE:
The Daily Service Charge of $15.00 per room, per day for one bedroom accommodations ($25.00 for accommodations two bedrooms and larger) includes gratuities paid to Bellmen, Housekeepers, Pool Attendants and Van Drivers for on-property transportation. The Ocean Reef Club daily fee of $20.00 + 7.5% tax has been waived. It includes: Daily Marina Fitness Center access, daily newspaper, in room complimentary bottled water on arrival day, in room coffee/tea, complimentary valet or self-parking, 24 hour on property van shuttle service/bell service as well as beach chairs. In addition to the features listed above, the Club provides complimentary local and domestic long distance calls as well as complimentary use of Internet.

DEPOSIT POLICY:
A deposit equal to one night's room & tax will be taken at time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Individual reservations cancelled twenty-one (21) days or less prior to arrival will be subject to a one night’s room cancellation fee.

CHILDREN POLICY:
Children under 18 stay free.

CHECK-IN: 4:00 pm
CHECK-OUT: 11:00 am
