GLFEA Announces New Executive Director
The Board of Directors of Great Lakes Fabricators and Erectors Association (GLFEA) announced that Patrick W. Baker, M.A., J.D. has been appointed as its new Executive Director, replacing the late Jim Walker.
Mr. Baker will chiefly be responsible for the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements on behalf of member firms and other signatory contractors; serving on various local and national industry boards; and promoting the advantages of union construction with steel.
Prior to coming to GLFEA, Mr. Baker served as the Director of Labor Relations and Government Affairs for the Construction Association of Michigan. GLFEA is a TAUC Local Employer Organization (LEO) member located in the Detroit suburb of Southfield, Michigan.
